Come to the Hrdlička Museum of Man and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ancient Egypt. During this special themed excursion, you will not only visit the exhibitions, but also take a peek into the workrooms of our anthropologists.Did you know that the Egyptians were not only renowned embalmers, but also famous among their ancient neighbors as excellent doctors, and that their cosmetic products were also very popular? We will tell you what raw materials and substances are found in all of the above-mentioned fields. You will then be able to touch and smell some of them. You will use your own senses to discover the scents that characterized ancient Egypt and why body care was so extremely important in life and after death.
